Personal

Heather Welch is a life-long resident of Wisconsin; she grew up in western Wisconsin and now makes her home in St. Francis. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. Heather is married to Robert Bahillo.

Heather Welch was active in many organizations in college and continues to be a member of the Marian University Alumni Association; she played basketball and acted as the Vice President for the Student Athlete Advisory Committee at Marian College in Fond du Lac, WI.
 
Heather Welch continues to be passionate about sports; she has coached children in various sports to help them learn the fundamentals, values, and discipline that come from engaging in sporting activities, and currently coaches basketball for the Bobcats as part of the Wisconsin AAU Basketball league. She also supports the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (MACC) Fund.
 

Heather Welch is also active with Special Olympics Wisconsin, a statewide organization providing persons with cognitive disabilities year-round sports training and competition. Special Olympics Mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with cognitive disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courance, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
